Cinder Block Cowl

I finished this little cowl a couple of days ago.  After soaking I have been very impatient for its photo session.  The cowl took forever to air dry.  Well forever for me.

I loved knitting with Blue Sky Alpaca, it was soft and squishy!  The cowl knitted up quickly since it was on size eight needles, instant gratification-what could be better?

As a treat, I have made this pattern available for free to all of you lovely readers.

  5. Awesome! It looks so scrummy! If I can ever finish this cardigan, I might just have to make one. I'm afraid to start anything else because I MUST finish what I've started.

  8. Now that is my kind of knitting...big needles and big yarn...I could make that! It is so pretty! I love your new header too! Yay ~ Spring is here. I want to make a new header but can't part with my barn pic...funny how you get attached to seeing the same thing pop up everytime you log on..I would feel wierd if something else showed up!

  10. a pumpkin sunrise original? how cool! well done on the cowl. i'm in love with blue sky. unfortunately though, i have a lot of baby knits from ezra that i'm pulling out made of blue sky's cotton and the pilling is rather shabby looking. : ( too lazy to card it.
