Currently on the Needles

I've returned once again to my fair isle hat that is nearly done.  I finished the colorwork yesterday and started the crown decreasing.  I might keep this for myself or I might give this to my son.  I do love the rustic colors and I think I have enough yarn left over to do another one.  Yesterday I posted about a few more gifts completed and wrapped.

My reading is new this week.  I finished the Mathematician's Shiva and overall enjoyed the book.  There were tiny bits that were slow going but that could have been me reading right before I fall asleep.  If you love math, I'd say give this book a flip through.  My new book, Stitches by Anne Lamott one of my favorite writers.

What are you knitting and reading this week?

  1. I adore your hat Karen and think if you decide to give it to your son you should cast on another just for you because it's so beautiful
