-Y A W N-

Are you tired from the time change?  Oh, that spring ritual is hitting me hard today.  I'm an early riser to begin with and I love to get up around 5:15 so today was a challenge and I've yawned a lot.  How was your weekend?  I bet it was a really nice one.

Here in PA the weather was spectacular.  I was outside daily doing my walks and the RA flare up has subsided once more.  I truly am blessed that usually in 48 hours I am back to almost normal.  A blister on my heel is bothering more than my joints, that is really really wonderful.

Hey!  Our daughter arrived yesterday early evening and so far she is jetlagged and recovering from the trip.  Today was a lazy daisy.  I did have knitting with my friends while she took a long nap.  Tonight will be chatting and hanging out.  I've got some day trips planned for the week that she is here.

This weekend had:

-a happy puppy with his big human sister - pesto pasta - planning knitting projects - blocking that sweater (squee!) - reading and resting - tackling a long to do list swiftly - gilmore girl watching - lots of decaf green tea -

how was your weekend?

  6. The time change has me all goofed. I forgot t change clocks and thought it was old time...just fed Reed a giant snack too late in the afternoon and now he will never eat dinner. Bad mom. Love Gilmore Girls though!

  7. So glad you're feeling better. We had to sing two difficult songs this morning at that earlier than usual hour. Lots of empty seats at church today. Have fun with your daughter!

  9. Enjoy your visit with your daughter. So glad your RA is better. I rarely have a problem with the time change. I usually wake up early all on my own so I just let that happen naturally. I woke up just after 7 DST and that is fine for a Sunday. I am sure that I will wake up earlier tomorrow. I hope you adjust soon.

  10. I am not a fan of this time change at all, just leave it one way or another.
I hope you and your girl have a super time, soak it all in!

  11. Hope you have a wonderful time with your daughter! I'm not crazy about the time change either. That and the fact that I woke up to the sound of one of our dog's barfing (at 4:30, "new" time) is going to make for an early bed time tonight.

  13. I am glad to hear your RA pains have gone and you are able to enjoy your daughter's visit. Our clocks don't change till the end of the month here in the UK, so I have a few more weeks to wait!

  17. OH so glad you get daughter time! I love daughter time!
My weekend included a dinner out with old neighbors. They fight like the dickens, but they kept it in check this time! Knitted my sweet new sock. Visited my mom in the nursing home, and she was delightfully dotty

  18. Yes, the time change was difficult yesterday. I was tired, but then couldn't sleep and then overslept this morning.

  19. Your sweater is beautiful! I hope you are feeling better- and I bet that trip to New York was worth it. I am jealous. :) There was Gilmore Girl watching at my house this weekend too--I never watched it when it originally aired so we are binge watching on Netflix now. We just started the dreaded season 7. I adore that show!

  20. Have a wonderful time with your daughter, Karen! My weekend was spent caring for my husband who had spinal fusion surgery on Friday. I'm happy to report that it was a success and once the healing process is complete who should be able to head back out on to the golf course and hiking trails! : )
