Currently on the Needles

Yesterday I started something new and I have been in knitting heaven!  This sweet cowl caught my eye a while ago and it's been in my Ravelry queue.  I'm a little concerned that the cowl will be too small but for now I'm knitting away and I'll decide on whether I need to adjust the pattern once I have a few inches committed to the project.  I am totally fine with ripping out and starting over.  It's what knitters do!

Oh, my reading is the same and it's been quite slow this week.  I am still reading this book and I am still enjoying the story immensely.  My time has been limited this week for reading and when I do read, it's right before bed and I fall asleep.

What are you knitting and reading this week?

  8. Oooo, love that purple! I opted to rip out the sweater I was knitting this last week when I realized my raglan increases were off. I blame the fact that I was trying to watch Heroes on Netflix! ;) Looking up that book! *hugs*

  14. When I was knitting Pretty Thing (cowl), it looked too small too, but it had an amazing amount of stretch once it was off the needles.

Not much reading this week and a whole lot of knit -- frog --- knit ---- frog. LOL

  16. That's a nice, heathered purple. I finished a book two nights ago, the second of the Creed series by Linda Lael Miller. I started The Charm Bracelet by Viola Shipman, which is actually a pen name for Wade Rouse. Viola Shipman is his grandmother's name and he uses it as tribute to her.

  17. I love the color, Karen! It's going to be lovely! I have just started reading Harry Potter and the Lost Child, the published script of the play that is currently being staged in London. I've read all the Harry Potter books and wasn't sure if I would enjoy this but to my surprise I am!
