Yarn along, again!

Today is the yarn along that Ginny at Small Things is hosting.  Wednesday has become one of my favorite days because I get to see what everyone else is knitting and reading!

This week I started a new book The Elegance of the Hedgehog.  It is translated from French and so far it is interesting.  I have been wanting to read this book for quite some time and was happy to start it.  My knitting is pretty much the same.  However, I have finished with the body of the Seamless Hybrid Sweater......that means that I have started a sleeve!  Oh what joy to be speeding along on 38 stitches instead of 190 stitches!!  I have been working on the Calendar Scarf which you can check out on my Ravelry project page.  I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.  Today my 17 year old son is home for the second day in a row from school cancellations because of SNOW. (I love the snow so I am not complaining).

  1. I like the cover of the book, I think I've seen it somewhere but can't place it.
The knitting is beautiful! I love snow too, so long as I still have electricity!

  2. I'm thinking about the phrase under your title. "One project at a time." I'm in awe. I usually have about 5 projects going at a time. I have knitting ADD.

  3. I love the title of the book you're reading. I'd like to hear what it's about if you give us an update next week.

  4. Looks like an interesting read! I will have to check it out!

  5. I look forward to Wednesdays now too, one of my favorite things is catching up with all this knitting/bookish goodness!

I love your comment about 30 some stitches rather than 100+ too true!

  6. i like the cover of your book even though you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. i hope it is a good one. let us know!

  7. Hey, we're knitting with the same color! Thanks for the visit!
