Today and yesterday were days of rain. I have been keeping my eye out for the shades of autumn challenge during the week just in case. This challenge has made my favorite season so much more enjoyable. I think I am really "seeing" nature around me through the eyes of my camera. It is fun and beautiful capturing nature.
I have an idea for purple in autumn :-O black grape or plums or purple chrysanthemum, At least that is what I would get for purple at home. In Australia, season colors are totally different. Thanks for stopping by :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely - isn't it fantastic how trying to focus on a particular colour makes you look harder at your surroundings? I'm loving this photo project - I hope they do it next year when I'm living on the other side of the world and have a whole different set of challenges!
ReplyDeleteDocumenting life through the lens of a camera certainly does seem to make you see things you don't ordinarily notice. When I take my unintentional "blogging breaks", I really miss noticing the little things of life that bring you pleasure. Like those beautiful red leaves against pretty green backgrounds! Great photography!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Red is my favourite colour - and autumn is my favourite season. Great photos!

ReplyDeletereally pretty karen, and that frodo of yours is one fetching dog!
ReplyDeleteI feel exactly the same way. Since the challenge started I have been seeing the world with so much more richness! At the grocery I saw some apples after I had already posted and I thought how perfect they would have been for red. So, I was delighted to see them front and center in your post!
