Currently on the Needles

Oh my knitting is fabulous-I am loving each stitch of my shawl I have only three more chart patterns to go but they will go slowly because of the massive amount of stitches on the needles.  The geometric design is interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing this project blocked out!  Wearing this in the early Fall is making me quite happy to think about.  The daydreaming begins.

I finished The Interestings last week and it wasn't that interesting overall.  There were times that the plot was captivating but overall I didn't care for the characters.  So, my new read is a book I picked up while in Hilton Head, who knows how this one will be.  I only just started to read a few days ago so I haven't formed an opinion as of yet.

What's on your needles?

  1. the shawl is looking GREAT!!!!! and new book title ..... judging a book by its cover, this should be good!!! (I'm with you on the Interestings-----it was interesting enough to finish it, but not interesting enough to rave about it.)

  5. I can't wait to see the shawl all blocked! It will be gorgeous. It's a great color. I think that is one thing that I dislike about shawls is the massive amounts of stitches by the time you get to the end of it.

  26. Funny that The Interesting was not interesting. hehe. I have not been knitting much at all lately-- too hot out here. Hope to sneak some in this weekend though-- I am overdue for a baby present!

  27. I found The Interesting very uninteresting, too. What was all that hype over, anyway? Your shawl looks fun and very interesting! The shawl I'm knitting has all sorts of fun things going on and I'm rather taken with a new book, Hunting and Gathering.
