Currently on the Needles

Same book this week I'm afraid.  I haven't been reading much because of all the knitting and because of my eyes being tired at the end of the day from the endless drops.  I'm hoping that they are getting better!!  Next week I see the doctor.  Anyways, I'm enjoying my book when I do read it.

My knitting has been productive.  I finally did the photo shoot of my pullover and posted yesterday.  Thank you for the kind comments and I agree that I'm being picky.  I finished all the mitts I wanted to finish and I've started on some more Christmas knitting for December.  Super secret knitting so I can't say much.  Hopefully over the holiday weekend I'll be starting some more projects that I can talk about.

What are you knitting and reading this week?

  8. My reading tends to suffer while I'm in knitting mode. I'm working on lots of stockinette so I should be able to do both at the same time. Have a great Thanksgiving Karen!

  16. That book is on my "to read" list. I am knitting a baby sweater - "Sail Away With Me" and a pair of mitts "Rockywold" that will be a gift, when they are finished. Of all things, I am trying to read "The House of Seven Gables" but it is slow going.

  18. Glad you're giving your eyes a rest, my friend... Happy Thanksgiving!
Since you asked, I've cast on a last minute beanie for the son-in-law over in Scotland. The package needs to go out on Monday to get there in time, so I shouldn't have any trouble (worsted and US 7s).

  21. I really do hope your eyes are getting better. I've been praying for you.
This week, I decided to throw together a quick scarf for my son. He chews on his neck ware during the cod months so we need more than one neckwarmer. They get pretty nasty. LOL! Reading wise, I've been delving deep in my herbal studies lessons and learning all about the alimentary system. Fascinating stuff!
That red yarn is divine... Love the deepness of the color.

  23. I forgot to comment in two posts ago that man, you sure cranked out those mitts! They will be great gifts. I gave out fingerless mitts last year to my SIL and little sister. I paired them with nail polish and good, hand cream.
