Currently on the Needles

While toodling around on Ravelry, I came across this pattern - the Pincha Shawl and loved how the design showcased a variegated yarn.  So what's a knitter to do but dig into the stash, unearth a lovely skein of Mountain Girl Yarn by the lovely Camilla and cast on!  The pattern is the kind you have to pay attention to every single row...so it's definitely not tv knitting! I have unknitted quite a few rows because of my brash confidence.

I'm nearly finished reading Stephen King's book On Writing.  I am loving every single word. His conversational style of writing is captivating and I stay awake reading past my bedtime.  A true sign of a great book.

  37. I've started this Pincha shawl 3 or 4 times now - and messed it up each time! About drove myself crazy - with all the turning and wraps. I had it going good and then blam, another mistake. Put it aside for now. It isn't all that hard really - just fiddly.... LOL!
