Weekends

My weekend:

-no snow - snow - rain - sinking into a really good book - starting and finishing a bear hat - homemade wings - superbowl watching - more knitting - getting all the chores done yesterday - solving another computer issue - writing a mighty list of all the things that need done today -  big salads - loving life right now - hand aches are resolved - completing the food inventory for the menu planning -

How was your weekend?

  2. I love getting the chores done early on the weekend. Delicious looking salad. You will have to tell us all how you like that book. We are inundated with LOTS of snow this morning, but the weekend was nice. Have a good week.

  7. That salad looks very appetising! I'm glad your hands are better. I'm always reading along here, but have been unable to comment for so long :( I type a comment and it disappears into the ether! I wondered today if it might be an issue with my phone, so I'm trying with the laptop. Here goes........

  9. it looks like your 2020 reading is off to a great start! ditto the knitting. and I love seeing Frodo in the snow(flakes) ... Holly is completely a Southern Belle and would never want actual flakes to touch her fur ;-)

  10. Sounds lovely...

    Ours was quiet, per usual.

He watched Super Bowl next door with son and family. And then at home, from second half on. Happily we both missed the _Weird_ _Mess_, which is known as Super Bowl Halftime Show. -head desk-

  11. A quiet weekend spent reading and tending my back. I did manage to knit a few rows of easy garter stitch Sunday evening without too much trouble so that is progress. We had a taste of Spring - mid 50's on Sat and 60 on Sunday. I took a short walk. I read Kindred ages ago. I can't remember too much about it except that I did enjoy it.

  13. So glad that your hand issues seem to have resolved. We are mired in a week of clouds and rain here, but no snow. I am not sure if I am happy about that or not. I love the color of your knitting and that book looks interesting. The salad looks delicious too.

  14. Well, as you may have read, I mixed up the dates of our SnowSculpture walk with our friends. It worked out anyhow! Im so happy your hands are better! When I swam today, I felt like I didn't have to worry about a workout that would hurt my hands.

  15. So glad you had a great weekend!
Mine was on and off. I was sick on Friday and really tired on Saturday, but it was our daughter's last weekend here, so I tried to make the most of it. And on Sunday we were invited to watch Superbowl with some American friends, which was quite the experience for us ;-)
