Through the Forest Socks

I finally finished these pair of socks for my husband. I used a memorized pattern from long ago before ravelry days, for me it's mindless and the ultimate comfort knitting. I'm seriously contemplating knitting another pair for him because he keeps putting holes in previous pairs of socks I've knit for him. In his defense they are many years old...

Since Monday I've been knitting exclusively for me and the plan is to continue knit for me the whole week long!

What are you working on this week?

  1. Lovely socks! I am knitting my version of Pressed Flowers!

  2. I'm also working on socks but I went to be early yesterday before the toe decrease and kitchenering. I think my next pair of socks might be waffle socks as I love their squishiness!

  3. I love those socks. Very handsome! The color is great (and one Fletch would like). I, too, am knitting on socks and dreaming of other projects. I may start a MAJOR cowl soon!!

  4. Those look like great gentlemanly socks. I'm knitting on some mittens for a grandson and dreaming about knitting for myself. Soon.

  5. Really nice socks! I should knit my husband a pair too. I haven't knitted for him in awhile now. Good to have a pattern like this memorized to knit up! Enjoy knitting for yourself this week! :)

  6. Still working on the Miss May shawl. Sadly I was almost done but had to rip out my recent work because I somehow acquired 2 extra stitches. Sigh.

  7. I love that pattern, I have knit some similar socks. I do love a pattern that you can memorise.
