Happenings
Good morning! How are you?
I'm doing okay. I have an early morning appointment with the ENT today. The week I do not have a doctor's appointment will be a miracle! However, I am grateful I like all of my doctors who help me out.
This weekend was crazy weather!
This tree that fell over into our neighbor's yard and knocked out their power is NOT our tree but is close to the property line and it did NOT knock our power out, thank God. On Friday evening our lights flickered so many times during a horrific wind storm. My husband and I ran around the house, filling water bottles (I like cold water) and charging our phones and flashlights. We were lucky and our electricity stayed on!
My sister's did not and she lives very close to me.
Yesterday after Mass, my daughter in law and the two grands came to stay at our house for a few days while my son is traveling for work. Party! The grands love having a sleep over here and we love helping out whenever we can.
I knit very minimally this weekend. I predict that will be the case until our company leaves.
How are you? Did you get the crazy winds? Do you have electricity?

I am so glad you have power (so many don't, it is crazy!) ours flickered a few times on Friday evening, but that was it. However, these winds are just unreal! I am sending good thoughts for your doctor's visit this week!
ReplyDeleteWe've been having high winds, but not as bad as you. Glad you are all safe and ok and did not lose power. Best of luck with your ENT appointment.
ReplyDeleteNo crazy winds here just hot weather. Already creeping towards 100F. Enjoy those grand babies. They grow up way too fast.
ReplyDeleteThankfully your power stayed on! :) I was prepared in case mine went out. I have picked up my knitting needles again and have a small project going. My shaking is more controlled by medication so I am happy to have my hobby back. I feel like I am starting over with learning again! LOL! Hope you have a great few days with the grands!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing that you did not lose power!! Glad you have family visiting!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are safe and sound. Enjoy your party!!! We have also had crazy windy days. The wind has encouraged some wildfires in the rural areas. Scary.
ReplyDeleteHappy St Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteWell, I am behind in my blog reading. That wind was something else, wasn't it? We didn't lose power, for which I am thankful, but there were many who were. I enjoyed seeing the signs of spring around your home. Hope all goes well with your ENT appointment.
