Knitting News
I started a new project intending to turn a square into a rectangle using the same amount of yarn. I quickly did the math then proceeded to knit. My math was wrong (!). We were watching TV and I tried four separate times to do mental math to correct the spacing of the design while knitting at the same time. This is what I've learned: - I cannot do mental math -I should not do mental math especially at night -I should not believe myself and feel confident of any redesigning issues after dinner time. I retired to bed thinking about my math problem and then in the morning, I solved the problem quickly with pen and paper and calculator. Well well well. I figured out the spacing in less than 2 minutes. My sister's cardigan is coming along splendidly. I am on the ribbing, and all too soon I'll be knitting a sleeve - so excited and giddy! What are knitting or crafting these days?
