Split Pea Soup

1 onion chopped
1/2 cup chopped carrots
2 stalks of celery chopped
1 tbs of olive oil
4 cups of vegetable broth

  1. Thank you for that recipe! We love split pea soup around here, but can never find the perfect recipe. Yours looks divine. It's 53F/12C and foggy here this morning...I could use a warm soup for breakfast!

  2. My favorite all time soup! I skip the broth and use water, then stick everything in the crockpot for the day. Love!

  3. Oh yummy! Happy Weekend!

  4. Looks delicious! Must add this to the rotation.

  5. That looks yummy... split pea has never been a favorite, but my family loves it. I may have to give this a try!

  6. Ooh, I'll bring the rolls!! I love split pea soup.

    Blessings, Debbie

  7. I have been known to burn split pea soup! The big joke is "Only you can burn soup! Thats like burning water!" and I say "but its more like stew than soup!!!" LOL!

    That looks delish!

  8. I'll have to try this recipe, it looks great!

  9. Yum. I love soup. I am going to try this one out.
