Weekends

Hello!

We were on a weekend adventure and just got back this afternoon.  This photo from my phone is a quick sneak peek at our getaway.  I'll give you much more details and photos tomorrow hopefully.  We drove to Lake Placid to celebrate our anniversary and to squeeze in a vacation.

-I did not fix my knitting yet, that's tonight hopefully
-I was unplugged from social media and many blogs that I've missed
-I ate too much
-I walked too much (hopefully that negated the "ate too much")
-I am exhausted and yet renewed....a funny paradox but needed.
-I bought another notebook and because I have a notebook buying addiction convinced my husband to buy one as well.  It worked!
-I read but did not finish a book
-I people watched-which is by far my favorite activity on vacation
-almost every meal was with a lake view!- I could do that for every single meal for the rest of my life.

See you tomorrow my friends with lots of photos to share.

Eating too much while on vacation just seems to be the thing, but it's all calorie free right?

  15. Awesome! There is so much beauty in your part of the country that I have yet to see. I do the same thing on vacation too--once we stayed at a B & B with the most delicious food, and we got so stuffed just wanting to try it all! Still, I don't regret it a bit:)
