my family

Hello my friends :)  I'm a tiny bit nervous hosting this weekend series, but here I go-bravely!

This weekend has been eventful and joyful and oh so full of goodness.  We spent the day watching our daughter graduate from law school!  Before I forget, I must say that the ceremony was IN an auditorium with AC.  Phew.  I was comfy and loving the day.

I had no trouble finding her in a crowd, can't explain how one child is findable (not a word but should be one) and one is not.  It just is.  Afterwards, we lunched at a restaurant in town with her boyfriend and friends.

I have a full house-with shoes scattered in the foyer, piano being played, and a Zelda game is running upstairs while my son does the three heart challenge (it's a gamer thing).

I'm happy that we will all go to church tomorrow morning and have a family meal together, not sure what that will be.

How was your weekend?  Please share!

  4. Oh how I love the family picture!! You have a beautiful family. And your daughter looks so much like you. Congratulations to her! My sister graduates tomorrow with her nursing degree. Such happy times! Because tomorrow will be so busy, I wrote my weekending post tonight. I'm usually not this early with it, but I was afraid if I didn't write it now I wouldn't get it done. And I wanted to take part for your first week hosting!!

  6. That is a good looking family you have! Congratulations to you your daughter, what a great achievement! I can pretty much sum our weekend up in one word - wet. Maybe it should be two words - really wet! We did have some of Nadia's friends spend the night and one of Hannah's here yesterday afternoon. There was reading, watching TV, knitting, good food and a rhubarb dessert. So it wasn't all bad... ;-)
