My weekend in list form:
Snow snow snow
Adopting books from the public library book sale
Dinner out with my husband
Walks in the neighborhood
Spying deer prints
Seeing a deer rest at the edge of my woods until mid morning
Nearing the end of two knitting projects
Hoping there is enough yarn for the socks!
Enjoying a peaceful Sunday afternoon
How was your weekend?
I love our library's book sale! We have "adopted" lots and lots of books from there. Worst case scenario, we don't care for the book and donate it right back. :-) I know you like your snow, but I am so glad we only got a dusting Friday night. Things shut down here when we get snow... Enjoy your Sunday!ReplyDelete
I will be donating the HP book, I already own a copy! I wish I could keep tabs of every single book but I have troubles.Delete
Dinner with hubby, deep cleaned 2 rooms, finished a book! Pretty nice weekend really.ReplyDelete
Can't wait to see your knitting projects.
Did some cleaning. Did a lot of reading. Out to the bulk grocery store and Walmart and then dinner!ReplyDelete
To the grocery store today (instead of tomorrow) as we are due to get some snow.
Talking to my sister on the phone about knitting...which is always fun!

I love a book sale, not so keen on the snow, it seems to cause havoc with transport here in the UK. I am still working on my picnic throw and planning my garden. Have a great week.ReplyDelete
Sounds like a lovely weekend. Mine was busy, busy, busy so I'm hoping next weekend will be calmer.ReplyDelete
it was our weekend for the library used book sale, too!!!! you did much better than I did (I was with a friend who flew through the tables....and then just sort of followed me around.....i finally gave up). only grabbed a couple and really not sure I wanted any of them. :( (I got Mrs. Dalloway at the LAST sale!!!!)ReplyDelete
This one was pretty decent, the last one I did not buy much.Delete
Beautiful photos Karen and what a great stack of books you have! I must find a copy of Mrs. Dalloway !!!ReplyDelete
Not a lot here! Boring really.... Oh well. Hope you had a good one! xxReplyDelete
Spent the weekend in the sick bay of my house. I put myself in my daughters old bedroom to keep away from the rest of the house. I don't want them to get sick. Its just a cold, but such a nuisance.ReplyDelete
Ive been listening to podcasts and knitting between napping !
We have a dusting of snow.
I hope you are feeling better!Delete
SO lovely! Public library book sales are the best.ReplyDelete
I quite agree and it is for a good cause.Delete
Cool animal tracks! Yay for snow Karen, I know how much you wanted this- happy for you. Never can have too many books.ReplyDelete
Enjoy your week!
Well this settles it, I'm coming for a visit! You need help with the wedding right ;) ?ReplyDelete
I'll make up the guest room! Yes to helping with the wedding as well :)Delete
Adopting books! Yay! I know, I know I shouldn't encourage it right? I am forever adopting books but don't they make your home so cozy. We didn't get any snow this weekend but as I type we are supposed to get 3-6 inches over the next 2 days. Happy Sunday Night!ReplyDelete
Hello Karen! I imagine you will be enjoying more snow over the next day or so? Isn't it beautiful. We are currently getting a wintry mix...but there is promise of snow!ReplyDelete
I spent my weekend enjoying and celebrating life...with a good book. ;)
celebrating life is time well spent.Delete
The snow is heading our way and I am so glad to be locked up inside with books and yarn. Your weekend sounds just lovely!ReplyDelete
I will be doing what you are doing!Delete
Looks like you scored at the library sale! We spent the morning singing in our choir and then sorting and labeling music. Also finished the smocked jumper. We were going to go over to see the GK but they have the stomach flu......No snow here, just rain.ReplyDelete
stay away from the stomach flu, not fun at all, I hope they feel betterDelete
That snow looks so pretty! My weekend was pretty similar. We finally had some snow, so it was a combination of frolicking in the snow and knitting.ReplyDelete
Love your photos. We had snow this weekend, just enough to be pretty but not slow things down.ReplyDelete
I love the deer prints !!! It must be turning into a real winter wonderland around you... perfect setting for knitting and reading.all your new adoptees. We had a lovely bonding weekend together... busy but lovely because everyone was in such great moods.ReplyDelete
Your weekend sounds so relaxed and lovely. We'd love a little snow, but it is not to be this year!ReplyDelete
We celebrated a milestone this weekend 35 years! My husband is a saint. :) The weather was unseasonable, too. Very warm, sunny and beautiful.
happy anniversary! I hope you have many more years ahead with just as much happiness.Delete
Our weekend weather was sunny & in the 40's on Sat. and rainy all day yesterday. I wouldn't mind some snow this winter! I spent a good part of the weekend making soup for a "Soup Supper" fund raiser for our local Catholic Worker house that provides a home to women & their children who would otherwise be homeless. Hope you have a great week!ReplyDelete
I know that soup will be appreciated. I hope you have a lovely week as well :)Delete
Great book collection! I am curious to know what you think of Peach Keeper. Happy weekend!ReplyDelete
