Weekends

Weekends are for memory making,
relaxing and enjoying quiet moments of our days.
If you would like, please share your weekend moments
in the comment section with a link to your blog.

My weekend in list form:

Snow snow snow
Adopting books from the public library book sale
Dinner out with my husband
Walks in the neighborhood
Spying deer prints
Seeing a deer rest at the edge of my woods until mid morning
Nearing the end of two knitting projects
Hoping there is enough yarn for the socks!

Enjoying a peaceful Sunday afternoon

How was your weekend?

  1. I love our library's book sale! We have "adopted" lots and lots of books from there. Worst case scenario, we don't care for the book and donate it right back. :-) I know you like your snow, but I am so glad we only got a dusting Friday night. Things shut down here when we get snow... Enjoy your Sunday!

  3. Did some cleaning. Did a lot of reading. Out to the bulk grocery store and Walmart and then dinner!
To the grocery store today (instead of tomorrow) as we are due to get some snow.
Talking to my sister on the phone about knitting...which is always fun!

  4. I love a book sale, not so keen on the snow, it seems to cause havoc with transport here in the UK. I am still working on my picnic throw and planning my garden. Have a great week.

  9. Spent the weekend in the sick bay of my house. I put myself in my daughters old bedroom to keep away from the rest of the house. I don't want them to get sick. Its just a cold, but such a nuisance.
Ive been listening to podcasts and knitting between napping !
We have a dusting of snow.

  13. Adopting books! Yay! I know, I know I shouldn't encourage it right? I am forever adopting books but don't they make your home so cozy. We didn't get any snow this weekend but as I type we are supposed to get 3-6 inches over the next 2 days. Happy Sunday Night!

  21. Our weekend weather was sunny & in the 40's on Sat. and rainy all day yesterday. I wouldn't mind some snow this winter! I spent a good part of the weekend making soup for a "Soup Supper" fund raiser for our local Catholic Worker house that provides a home to women & their children who would otherwise be homeless. Hope you have a great week!
