Another Cowl Complete

I find myself wanting more and more cowls to wear this winter.  They are warm and easy to loop for extra warmth.  Yet I only own a few compared to the endless shawls I own, I'm not complaining, I'm stating a fact.  I'm in a cowl wearing mood this winter.

This pattern is a delight to knit.  Just keep in mind you need about 320 yards, 300 yards is quite skimpy.  This is the second time I've knit this pattern.  I decided to go up one needle size and bought lots of yarn.  I love the way this cowl feels and drapes.

  1. Your cowl looks both beautiful and warm! Even though spring is approaching, March is a fickle month, so plenty of warmth and beauty are still needed!

  11. That's a very nice cowl! I only own one cowl, and I think the reason is the one I knit is way too bulky. It sort of put me off them. But I need to give them another chance. Yours looks so much more user friendly than mine! :-)

    1. If you know how to cast on, decrease, and increase then you could do this pattern. If you are a really really real beginner I'd say start with something much more simple before tackling this. I'd rate this pattern as a confident beginner to intermediate knitter.
