Weekends

Weekends are for memory making,
relaxing and enjoying quiet moments of our days.
If you would like, please share your weekend moments
in the comment section with a link to your blog.

We've been doing lots of Christmas shopping over the weekend.  I'm slowly making progress and hope to be done by next weekend (a personal goal).  That gives me a few weeks to leisurely wrap presents and not be in the crowds of last minute shoppers.

After last weekend being busy with traveling and seeing family, I enjoyed the slow pace of this weekend.  We dawdled about, taking our time yesterday.  We continue to attend Saturday night Mass and I continue to miss my Sunday pew neighbors.

I'm still digesting that we are in the second week of Advent...!

Earlier today, we attended a banquet and got all dressed up.  I'm back into my jeans and cardigan wearing outfits and I must say, I'm quite comfy.

The tea is waiting for me, I am gonna watch some shows on Netflix and hopefully finish knitting a hat.  One more left to knit!  yay!

How was your weekend?

  2. Yes, to a nice slow weekend! I like your goal, it is very sensible and I hope to have my shopping done soon. My weekend was busy working on Saturday, but today was slow and easy and I am so pleased. I love all of your snow people Karen, they are adorable! You looked lovely for the banquet. Have a great week xx

  3. Sounds wonderful, loved the snowman collection and that beautiful tree on your dining table. Sadly Gerard is on yet another course of steroids and is struggling at the moment, rest and warmth should help. Thank you for asking, hope you are still doing well.

  14. Hi Karen! My weekend was super busy. We attended the neighboring town's Christmas festival on Friday night with friends and then on Saturday I participated in my chorus' Holiday Concert. I was on my feet all day! On Sunday I rested. : ) Have a wonderful week!
