Never Ending Blanket

Ta da!  I am finished with this blanket that I started way back in May 2014.  I have reclaimed a set of knitting needles that have been unavailable to me.

In case you were wondering, I did not mind burying all those ends, they took less than an hour.  The blanket is everything I imagined and boy, is it warm because of the 100% wool content.

I have fond memories of curling up under the blanket and adding a few rows here and there.  I remember starting the blanket and quickly eating up all those bits of wool.  Will I make another blanket?  yes.  Will it be fingering weight?  maybe.  This was a labor of love.

  11. Wow, that's amazing! I have a lot of sock yarn leftovers and thought about doing this, but I don't know if the blanket would be big enough. I was saving them for making doll clothes but it doesn't look like I will ever get a granddaughter. HA!
