Weekends

My weekend was a somber one.  My kids arrived on Wednesday night to join us on our trip on Thursday to see our family in London Ontario for my father in law's grave site private service on Friday afternoon.  Lots of schedules were juggled around and plans were made.

On Saturday afternoon, we were out with my mother in law for some shopping and for lunch.  We love to stop in at the Coventry Garden Market in downtown London, Ontario.  I wish I had something like this in my little wee town.

Of course I managed to buy some yarn :)

How was your weekend?

PS:  It's going to take me a while to get caught up reading your blogs - I'll do my very best.

  20. What a nice day for the service. I'm sure he was looking down and smiling at all who made the time to come remember him. What a neat marketplace and how fun to explore around it. I like the first skein of yarn!

  21. I'm so sorry about your FIL but it looks like you're making the best out of a bad time. I love that market and wish we had something like that around here. We have the nicest Walmart in a 70+ mile range but it's still just a Walmart. Congrats on the yarn score! Did you get it at that market?
