Weekends

How was your weekend?

I had a blissful uneventful one which is the best kind of weekend to have. No stress is a blessing.

During the week my husband and I were walking daily, but this weekend ended that streak because the weather wasn't cooperating. My husband likes non-windy days and we both like non-rainy days. I cannot remember which day (they all blend together, ha ha) but on our return home from a walk we were caught in sleet, which is by far better than rain.

I read a bit and knitted a lot.

Sunday was the usual chores around the house.

How was your weekend?

Another sunrise!

  3. Walking on a windy day is not any fun. That first yarn is really lovely. Enjoy that stack of books

  5. I'm another one who does not see wind as a friend. I always tend to get ear aches (even though they get covered one way or another) and then my eyes start to sting. Not good!! today is kind of cloudy here, but it does look like our wind has finally calmed down. I will most likely just work out inside though. It is chilly and damp out. Your weekend sounds lovely - peaceful and calming.

  7. Had a good weekend here as well, and it's not over yet, because it is a long weekend due to MLK Day. High winds expected here tonight as well. I love your sunrise/sunset picture in this post. The light blue yarn in your current project is a great color. Enjoy this week, and hopefully the windy days will be few!

  8. It was mostly cloudy with a bit of knit (and a hamburger out at a restaurant). All in all . . . a good weekend.

  9. My weekend was stressful . I was trying to help a relative hang in there during his panic attacks. Exhausting. But he is better . When you panic alone during Covid, it is a huge struggle.
But, I did wrestle my ruffle sock to the ground and finish one. I shoveled the long driveway Friday and Saturday. Also, I watched the Misty COpeland ballet movie. It was very good.

    2. Thank you. May I ask which Etsy stores? I'm interested in the decorative washi and paper items you use in your bujo's when you have the time. ^__^

  13. Another quiet weekend but quiet is good. Sleet sounds awfully cold and wet to me. I don't walk when it rains because I hate it when rain hits my glasses. Unless wind is doing damage or is unsafe, I enjoy walking in the wind. I think it comes from living on the prairie. Your journal is so sweet. And do tell us how you like knitting on the flexible needles? Are they Flexi-flips?
