Knitting News

My knitting news isn't much since I've been exclusively knitting the same project for the past couple of weeks. That is what happens when a shawl is lace weight and on size four needles.

I love working on this shawl so much and I'm seriously contemplating another one in lace weight right after this one. This might be too much of a good thing and I might change my mind. What I like about doing another one is using up more lace weight wool in my stash and not thinking too deeply upon following a pattern since the stitch design is permanently memorized.

What are you working on this week?

  1. That pink shawl is simply beautiful! I've been working on a Hitchhiker for Ryan this week. I've also been working on it exclusively, so it's growing, too! (It should be growing more since it's fingering weight, not lace on 4s.)

  2. That shawl is GORGEOUS! What a rich color and the pattern is perfection. I'm still working on the same sock and same French Market bag.

  4. It's lovely! Sometimes working on just one project is very soothing.

  5. Lace weight does take a good deal of time to work up, but that shawl is beautiful. I love the color.

  6. Your little project bag is adorable. Lots of knitting and stitching (and shopping) going on here this week.

  7. I've been monogamous to two projects (is that an oxymoron?!) - my Long Love - a long cardigan in fingering weight - and a sock .... slow progress on all fronts!

  8. I am working on a shawl in light fingering weight on size 4 needles. Also very slow going.

  9. I continue to work on the same two projects, a pair of socks and the Falling Water Shawl. Your shawl is so so pretty. The stitch pattern and the yarn colors are a great match.

  10. Im about to cast on either socks or another cowl. I finished the fringed shawl and I have to clean up a few fat ugly fringes that ended up not looking good. It is easy, however, as the fringe comes off easy! Then Socks. I swear Socks.
