Knitting News

I know I keep showing the same projects but that is what I'm working on. I'm longing (desperately longing) for a finished project. The shawl is chugging along and the baby blanket is over half way done. I'm also half way through the poncho that is not in the photos.

  1. It seems like there is a point in almost every project where you can't see any forward progress, and then voila, it's almost done. For me this is especially true for blankets. I bet you'll be done with both the shawl and blanket soon!

  2. Hi Karen,
They are both such pretty projects...and once you pass the halfway mark...it's all downhill...

  3. I love seeing your progress on your shawl and blanket. It helps me realize that not all projects are completed in just a week or two. I think I am close to week 4 or 5 of working on my shawl. And it is the only thing I have worked on where you have 3 items on the needles.

  4. The shawl pattern looks like one that would keep interesting all the way through.

I'm working on a *mostly* garter shawl right now. Thank goodness for the lacy edge or I might have just gone out of my mind. LOL

  5. So much progress on those BIG projects ... I hope you have something smaller planned for a palate cleanser once you get one of these into the FO column!

  6. Maybe you need to concentrate on one of those projects just to have a finish. Then, of course, you can start something new. I love both of these pieces.

  7. I recognize that point in a project that you are writing about and wanting to finish something. Both are lovely. On the shawl I just finished and a toddler sweater I ripped out, I clipped a progress keeper to mark the days progress. For now do some dreaming about the next project.
