Knitting News

I added that pop of blue yarn for the nearly finished hitchhiker shawl. I am so close to being finished! I did not knit in the car on the way to and from Cambridge, MA last weekend. I just didn't feel like it. Sometimes I do knit and sometimes I just talk to my husband and look out the window.

What are you working on this week?

  1. I love that nice blue color you added! My husband always jokes about my car knitting. I hate to waste time sitting in the car, but I often end up ripping out my many mistakes.

  2. Love the Robin's Egg Blue that you've added to your Hitchhiker - a lovely touch. I never knit in the car. I'm too busy either looking at the scenery or telling Fletcher how to drive (or I'm the one driving). LOL

  3. Ooo! I really like that blue on your Hitchhiker! Sometimes observing new surroundings is more compelling than my head buried in my knitting! Good choice you!

  4. The blue gives a wonderful pop of color to the shawl. Watching the scenery while on a road trip is so nice. Being in a close space with a loved one is also a good time to really talk about things. Makes a long road trip so memorable.

  5. How fun! I need to do that pattern some day, but am trying to work on all of my many unfinished projects. Wish me luck!

  6. that blue really pops! I'm working on church stuff this week ... and if I can get it wrapped up, planning to treat myself to time getting a 2nd quilt started!

  7. The blue is a perfect color! I am like you sometimes knit in the car and sometimes not.

  8. The blue and brown compliment each other nicely. I'm getting ready for company so my knitting time has been limited. I'm plugging away on a shawl of leftovers and thinking about Norah's sweater.
