Happenings

Hello, good morning to you! How are you doing today?

Gosh, I feel like I have a lot to catch up on. First of all I have minimally knitted this week because of recovering from the 'virus'. I'm happy to report that I am feeling much much better!! I had a video doctor visit with my pulmonologist who is awesome. I cancelled lots of meetings last week so I could stay home and rest as well as keep the virus away from others.

Today will be the first day I exercise in a week (!!). My body needs is desperately! While I am not at full steam, I need some range of motion and feel like my regular self.

Friday night the local grandkids slept over and we had the best time ever. We went out for ice cream,  there's a local place that has delicious dairy free options. I chose mint chocolate chip which reminds me of my childhood.

Saturday was their first soccer practice then much needed rest afterwards. Yesterday I watched the kids after church the whole afternoon, the photo above is their handy work. Half of the toys in the photo where my son's toys when he was little.

I've got a busy week this week but what's nice is that my energy levels are much improved.

How are you doing this week?

  1. Karen, I'm so glad to hear that you have recovered from that virus. I'm beginning to wonder if you had the same one that my husband had a month ago. He ran a high fever for four days straight and his doctor ordered blood work three different times. It took him a few weeks to get his strength back and things are finally coming back into normal range now. I pray that's not what you had.

Glad you enjoyed having the grands over for the night and then again after church. It looks like they enjoyed themselves. :) xx
