My weekend included:
-catching up on many podcasts that accumulated over the winter break
-knitting on the citron shawl while listening
-marathon watching of Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth of course)
-happy to see my husband get drawn into the plot, he always does...
-some Downton Abbey as well, we only just viewed the season premiere
-menu planning, list making, laundry tasks and photo editing
-later today will be homemade hot wings YUM
-watching the super bowl indirectly, you see, I married into sports :)

Sounds like a great weekend :DReplyDelete
Sounds like a lovely weekend. My weekend so far is delicious, Connor napped for 3 hours yesterday afternoon. What did you think of Downton Abbey? I cried the 1st episode and was hooked. I LOVE your iPhone case!! Where did you get it? Online or retail?ReplyDelete
homemade hot wings sound good! and yes, the colin firth p+p is and will always be THE P+P to watch :)ReplyDelete
Ohh I love the Colin Firth Pride & Prejudice. I just put the first season of Downton Abbey on hold at the library. I've never seen it!ReplyDelete
oh yes Colin Firth and I loved the first season of Dowton but somehow haven't managed to catch the others. Enjoy your viewing an listening...and happy knitting.ReplyDelete
homemade hot wings!! Droooooling. Yes and loved Colin Firth's Pride and Prejudice!! I am saving the new season of Downton till it's all finished. I am spoiled with being able to watch one after the other from Netflix! And I love your iphone case!!!!ReplyDelete
I have yet to watch Downton Abbey, but I plan on getting season one from the library next time we're off for a few days. :-)ReplyDelete
My weekend got started walking with friends, cooking with and for the family, getting caught up on laundry (never really happens ;-))talking to family and friends on the phone and just enjoying the down time. Soon I'll find my spot on the couch to watch the super bowl with hubby - which is when I get to do my knitting... :-)
My sister loves watching Downton Abbey, but I have yet to see one episode; this might be a good thing since I know what happens this season, it seems everyone watches.ReplyDelete
I need to make my menu list still, do you have any great ideas? I am feeling totally uninspired right now.
Haha, I watch sports indirectly too. I think it's great for knitting, because you don't really have to pay attention. :)ReplyDelete
what podcasts do you listen to???? I'm always looking for some inspiration!!!ReplyDelete
Ahhh...good listening and viewing makes for quick knitting. I listened to an audiobook while driving and sped through mittens for me and my oldest. Dave is off grocery shopping from our list.ReplyDelete
I just re signed for Netflix so I can stream on my ipad. The first thing in my queue is Downtown Abbey! I would tootally knit my way through the superbowl if I wasn't working.ReplyDelete
I am "watching" the superbowl too... I was excited, but for now, the tv is just noise. I'm not feeling it at the moment. I haven't watched the Downton premier yet... I need to. Maybe tomorrow will be the day!ReplyDelete
Sounds like a nice weekend...I skipped the super bowl but NEVER miss Downton Abbey. I think I've got my priorities straight...;-)ReplyDelete
Have a good week!
Your weekend sounds lovely. Mine was about sports and piano , some home made wings and a lot of cuddlingReplyDelete
I love "watching the superbowl indirectly." That's what I was doing as well. I'll catch up on Downton Abby tonight.ReplyDelete
That sounds wonderful. I indirectly watched the superbowl as well. I just knitted away and looked up for a few of the commercials-- while over seeing Reading and Math homework!ReplyDelete
Oh my gosh. This season of Downton? You just wait. :) Love indirectly watching sports - that's me too!ReplyDelete
