Weekends are for memory making,
relaxing and enjoying quiet moments of our days.
If you would like, please share your weekend moments
in the comment section with a link to your blog.
Can you believe it snowed here yesterday? All day the weather we were supposed to have three months ago finally arrived. Call me crazy but it was beautiful to watch inside my cozy warm house (full of knitting, of course).
This weekend was all about that little bathroom redo. The ceiling and walls in the tub area had mold (ick) that could not be bleached out anymore, I've tried. So he treated the whole area and now we are back to pretty nice looking walls and ceiling! We picked "purple veil" which is the same color as the powder room from the main level. It's a vibrant light lavender. I do love it so.
I've bought new towels and rugs and so of course started cleaning out one linen closet and then added our linen closet. It's the great big purge around here. Anything that is "tattered" can go to the vet hospital. I'll never forget when Zoe (our previous dog - 1998-2009) had to be put down and they brought in a donated blanket as we said goodbye. So sheets, towels, blankets all go to them for their other goodbyes and emergencies and whatever they use them for. They are grateful and so am I for their service.
My lilac is slowly budding resisting the winter weather and I am loving its tenacity!
How was your weekend? Please share!
As always I love to read your comments and visit with you. I'm humbled by how sweet our "community" is and how some of you have been around for years and years and some of you are brand new! I have a special place for all you silent readers, you know who you are. I once was a silent reader of many blogs for years until I gathered the courage to start a blog.
So thank you all! Please visit each other and share a comment when you can!
