Bliss Beyond Bliss

Can it be?  Are there some serious signs of the fall season arriving.  August is a month of changes, usually the weather stays hot and humid but the leaves start to fall as well as the acorns.  All little promises of a lovely season.

In the afternoons while I sit in my knitting spot, the sunlight angles just so and gives off a wonderful fall-like feel to the day.

The beginning of my week was blissfully ordinary.  Oh how I wish I could pocket the ordinary-ness of those moments.  I love when my mind is mostly blank and my stress levels are low to non existent.  Bliss beyond bliss!

Right now my anxiety is high. I don't want to go into details just yet and write about it because writing about it makes it more real.  I'm filled with worries about what if this happens. I'd appreciate any and all prayers you could send my way.  (although I am writing about it in a way....hmm)

I wish I could be one of those people who are 'chill' no matter what.  This is a life long work in progress.

For some reason tackling a big boring project seems like a good idea, like cleaning out a closet or rearranging furniture.  I should go through and plan out my holiday knitting!  I wrote a note that says 'make Christmas list'.  So far it's completely blank except for the shawl for my MIL.

The summer top is coming along.  I am going with the notion that I can block it somewhat and if it doesn't fit then I will find a person it fits.  I just need to keep knitting and moving forward with the project.  I love the yoke decreasing!!

Our house continues to be harmonious.  Holly pretty much stays in her dog free zones and once in a while throws caution to the wind and goes into dog territory.  Most of the time Frodo sleeps but if he sees her, he chases her.

He will never catch her, yet I love his optimism that he could.  He is a positive thinking animal.

I hope you have a lovely weekend!!

  11. Oh, those kitty eyes!
I also battle anxiety all the time. With the school year about to start, I am really struggling. I, too, wish I could be chill all the time. I manage in front of the students, but that's a false front.

Holly just looks too cute !
Over here, too, there finally seems some ease between my two pets, although the litterbox remains a bit of a thing.. ( Pumpkin, the youngest, always wants to peek when Edna tries to use it, much to the annoyance of the latter, of course.. )

  23. Those kitty eyes! I was just thinking the other day that the leaves should be starting to show some change, but they aren't. It's been so hot & humid here, I think even the leaves have given up hope that autumn might be just around the corner. I'm sorry you're having worries and I'm saying a prayer for you and yours.
