Knitting News

Good morning!  How are you doing and how have your projects been coming along?  I feel like I'm knitting the same stuff, well actually I am knitting the same projects.  My zoom socks are only a few rows ahead than what they were last week.  During zoom meetings I talk more than I knit.

My golden wheat shawl is slowly getting bigger - I work on this in the afternoons for an hour or so. There might be one more repeat before I cast off. I don't think I'll be adding additional contrasting colors because the shawl might be big enough on its own once I block the daylights out of it.

What have you been working on this week?

Comments

  1. The Golden Wheat Shawl , I want to touch it, looks soft and squishy
. The color is perfect as well.
I feel too, that I am working on the same stuff. With all this time on my hands shouldn't I be completing shawls and socks daily? The Ashling shawl is going to be a really looong knit for me, lace weight, oy vey.

  2. Both of your projects look soft and squishy! I'm working on a baby blanket and have reached that time in the project where it doesn't seem to grow at all. The only thing to do is to keep knitting!

  4. The shawl is divine, what a stunning make. A few sewing projects but not a lot of knitting/crochet getting done.

  8. Your projects are lovely as ever. That shawl is going to be so pretty this fall. I am also working on the same knitting projects. I pulled a shawl out that has been waiting all summer to be finished and worked on some socks from a pattern called Downpour. If it ever rains again, I want to be ready.

  9. Oooh those socks are so lovely, I just love the colours. I am wondering what pattern your are using? My shawl is now off the needles and blocked, just need to sew 30 buttons on now!!

  10. Your shawl is gorgeous. I can't seem to settle down to create anything. Hoping that goes away soon. Stay safe.

  11. I think during this time I was addicted to starting off my Free Your Fade. I still am now.
