Weekends

How was your weekend?

My weekend was uneventful which makes it a perfect weekend. The snow is still here and I guess in a few days it will be raining (boo). The bitter cold turned into a damp cold which feels chillier to me.

I completed the weekly household chores yesterday as well as went for a walk with my husband and Frodo. My weekend contained:

-reading - knitting -  sketching -  watercoloring - menu planning - journaling - chatting with my sister - tracking some last minute packages - watching Lord of the Rings

How was your weekend?

PS:  I will not be posting on December 25th and January 1st, since they are both holidays and I want to be fully present on each of those days. I'll be thinking of you all!

  2. I thought the same thing when I saw your snowman! Maybe you can choose a watercolor that you do this year for your card next year (when things will hopefully be better and happier)!

  3. Boo for the coming rain. That will just turn into ice in the evenings. Sounds like a very lovely weekend for you. Getting all the household chores done before the weekend is my main goal each week. Most of the time it happens too. Merry Christmas to you and your family and a very blessed New Year.

  7. I'm another who loves your snowman and thinks it would be the cutest card! My weekend was good. A lazy pace and I accomplished some things and not others. Which is ok. Our snow is still here too. Foggy now and I'm thinking it will not be good viewing for the Christmas Star (Jupiter and Saturn). I agree that even though it is a bit warmer (above freezing), the dampness makes it feel chillier.

  13. Our snow is gone and this week the weather has been warmer but good for walking. My weekend was low-key. We are ready for our quiet Christmas so I just enjoyed the online streaming programming from our church. Your snowman is darling.

  14. I love quiet weekends, too. Mine was busy as I plunged into cookie baking and decluttering. But I'll have more down time after X-mas. Enjoy your holidays!

  15. We've been moseying along as usual here. California is under a stay-at-home order so I've only gone out to get food when needed.
