Buckle up! I've got lots of knitting to show you this week.

First up are these quick and easy wash clothes I whipped up as a little gift. I used left over worsted weight cotton and enjoyed immensely how fast they knitted up. Wash clothes are the palate cleanser of knitting for when you finish a big project (the never ending blanket) and want something that is instant gratification.


I stared a gift cowl in one left over skein from my sister's sweater. This is knitting up fast!!

And finally a much better photo of the shawl I am currently knitting that has eyelet rows galore. I know when this is blocked this will look fantastic. I rather enjoy the knitting (reminds me of the hitchhiker pattern - addictive) and I have another skein of variegated wool wound up and ready to cast on maybe when I finish this one or maybe before I finish this one. I'm in a 'cast on' mood.

    Nothing beats the gift of a wash cloth, I always have a few ready in the gift drawer.

    I LOVE that Madelinetosh colorway!! I'm working on TWO sweaters ... and trying to get up the gumption to bind off the shawl I was knitting with Holly in her last days ... good vibes welcome!

    What nice projects. I love the shawl and the cowl. I cast on a slip-stitch dish cloth myself this week. You are so right dishcloths are a great palate cleanser after a big project.

    Your dishcloths look like waffles :) ! I am working on a very ill fitting tee; might have chosen the wrong needle size and pattern size ( might have forgotten to swatch properly ). Currently I seem to be in between sizes, which makes picking a good fit quite a challenge....

    Catching up on some blog reading, I am also dishcloth knitting here too. I am cloth number six now, you are so right they are a lovely quick knit.

    Those are packed in eyelets in that shawl. What great texture your washcloths have. You are right how they're a great palette cleanser in-between knitting projects. I have finished my teal one some time ago. I still have Dishy left. I should start another.
