Thank you so very much for your kind words and encouraging comments. I called the office late Friday afternoon and was told 'no further treatment' is necessary from the coronary CT scan. I am feeling better and my body is adjusting to the new (three's a charm) blood pressure medicine. By mid June I will have a follow up appointment with a cardiologist closer to home and during that visit I will get the nitty-gritty of what all the cardio test results mean. I have a multitude of questions.
Thank you again - I am humbled by our little blogging community and the space we share.
Did your SEE that first photo??? Like crazy grandparents we drove three hours (one way to Columbus Ohio) for a lunch date with our son and daughter in law to spend some short time with our grandson yesterday. Oh the happiness!! He is a joyful baby, how lucky am I??
On Saturday, I did lots of watercoloring, sketching, reading and basically chilling out.
How was your weekend?
Good news and seeing your son and the grandchild makes for a mervelous weekend! So glad to hear it!ReplyDelete
Excellent news and so happy you got to hold your prescious grandson again!! Sweet picture.ReplyDelete
Baby time is ALWAYS good time. Glad to read that there isn't a big heart problem.ReplyDelete
Wonderful news from your cardio Dr. Made even better by baby visiting. Lovely watercolor of dogwoods.ReplyDelete

YAY for baby time. That's great you're only three hours away. Good to read about your health update. Your watercolor is very nice.ReplyDelete
Yesterday we drove up to the city to celebrate my grandmother's 99th birthday. Asian fare and one heck of a Derby Cake from the famous Mazetti's. She was pleased.
So glad you won't need further treatment. That is a cute picture of you holding that precious grandson. As always, I love your watercolor work. Have a good week. See you again soon.ReplyDelete
Awesome health news! I pray your health continues to improve. I'm sure baby time helped you feel even better! Beautiful sketch!ReplyDelete
So glad to hear this Karen, what a massive relief for you. How wonderful to end such a difficult week seeing your grandson. A perfect way to spend a Sunday xxReplyDelete
I can see myself doing the 4 hour drive to Boston fairly often to see my grandaughter once she arrives in August. I totally understand your trip. Glad to hear that no further treatment is needed following the CT scan. Your watercolor is pretty.ReplyDelete
I am so happy you have good news from the cardiologist. I don't think you are crazy grandparents at all - just loving ones making the most of a weekend. The plants are so pretty.ReplyDelete
I know that feeling of joy, however long the drive to see the face of a beloved grandchild. Hope the new medication helps and that you get all the answers to your questions. Love the watercolour.ReplyDelete
...we finally got to visit with our son by flying to New Mexico to see him...no grandbabies this time...but I'd totally fly or drive just about any distance to see them...Japan is still not allowing visitors so this will likely be our only chance to see him this year...
...so glad you got to snuggle with your little one...
~Have a lovely day!
Karen, such wonderful news about your cardio! I'm so glad no further action is needed and that you will be monitored by a cardiologist. I love the picture of you with your grandson. We have had happy news as well, we are going to be grandparents! Our daughter is due January 2nd, although she is hoping for a Christmas baby, LOL! We are over the moon. xoReplyDelete
