Weekends

Thank you so very much for your kind words and encouraging comments. I called the office late Friday afternoon and was told 'no further treatment' is necessary from the coronary CT scan. I am feeling better and my body is adjusting to the new (three's a charm) blood pressure medicine. By mid June I will have a follow up appointment with a cardiologist closer to home and during that visit I will get the nitty-gritty of what all the cardio test results mean. I have a multitude of questions.

Thank you again - I am humbled by our little blogging community and the space we share.

Did your SEE that first photo??? Like crazy grandparents we drove three hours (one way to Columbus Ohio) for a lunch date with our son and daughter in law to spend some short time with our grandson yesterday. Oh the happiness!! He is a joyful baby, how lucky am I??

On Saturday, I did lots of watercoloring, sketching, reading and basically chilling out.

How was your weekend?

  8. YAY for baby time. That's great you're only three hours away. Good to read about your health update. Your watercolor is very nice.
Yesterday we drove up to the city to celebrate my grandmother's 99th birthday. Asian fare and one heck of a Derby Cake from the famous Mazetti's. She was pleased.

  13. I am so happy you have good news from the cardiologist. I don't think you are crazy grandparents at all - just loving ones making the most of a weekend. The plants are so pretty.

  14. I know that feeling of joy, however long the drive to see the face of a beloved grandchild. Hope the new medication helps and that you get all the answers to your questions. Love the watercolour.

  15. Hi Karen,
...we finally got to visit with our son by flying to New Mexico to see him...no grandbabies this time...but I'd totally fly or drive just about any distance to see them...Japan is still not allowing visitors so this will likely be our only chance to see him this year...
...so glad you got to snuggle with your little one...
    ~Have a lovely day!
