Knitting News

My knitting news is minuscule.  However, progress no matter how tiny is progress. I've been mainly working on my blue sweater. I haven't been knitting during the day and only knit for an hour or two at night. I tend to do this in the summer time as other activities become my focus. Also that dastardly cold really set me back. I am feeling better though!

Even though my knitting is minimal, I am dreaming of new knitting projects I want to knit for my grandson and some other family members.

What are you working on this week?

  1. Another row counts as progress, and there is just something about summer heat that saps my desire to knit. I finished a bunch of washcloths and will start a Baby Surprise Jacket (if I'm clever enough to figure it out)!

  2. Socks! Always socks. LOL But, I did find a lightbulb for the living room lamp that lets me work on my cross stitch from the comfort of the couch. Look for MUCH more progress on my Quaker Sampler.

  3. I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling so much better from that nasty cold you had. Our kids in Maine had the same thing and it really set my daughter-in-law back a whole week before she started feeling better.

  5. So glad you are feeling better. I find I knit much slower in the summer...warmth and yarn don't always go together! I'm slowly working on some socks and also on my stitching.

  7. I've been working on the Miss May shawl but making slow progress. The sun's finally out here, so we've been working in the garden and taking lots of hikes in the area. So glad you're feeing better!
