Lavender Mitts

I whipped up a pair of mitts for my daughter in law, super quick. I used acrylic yarn and after I bought the yarn I discovered that it was aran weight instead of worsted weight, rookie mistake on my part. So I dropped down 2 needle sizes to make the size that I wanted.

What are you working on this week?

  1. They are a lovely color and I wouldn't be surprised if you have that pattern memorized!

  3. Aren't they the prettiest? I have not been working on much...a little sock knitting is all...but hopefully more soon!

  4. What pretty mitts. I just finished the body of a sweater for my grandson and my Felix pullover so I guess I need to book a trip to sleeve island.

  6. Love that color! I'm knitting away on the body of my fall Soldotna ... it's making me very happy (when I correctly count to three, that is ;-)

  7. Looks like you fixed the rookie mistake although it happens to me know and again. I'm working on a hat and a rainbow striped sweater.
