Flax Pullover

I finished our grandson's Christmas sweater last Thursday but only just photoed it yesterday. I am quite pleased with how it turned out. I made the 2-4T size and since he already is wearing 2T as I type this up. He's only going to grow!

What are you working on this week?

  1. That is a lovely pullover, especially with the autumn sunlight shining on it! I think it's a good thing you knit a slightly larger size so maybe it will fit him throughout this winter.

  7. I love your sweater and I think I will have to make one for my granddaughter! My son and his family live in Vermont and they love hikes and camping....so a warm pullover would be great for her!

Also, Happy World Arthritis Day.....I hope you are doing well. I am just (I hope) over a flare that stole my sleep everynight with leg and hip pains.....it is quite a balancing act between making sure I get enough activity in a day and making sure I don't over do it. I can go for weeks without even noticing and then I wonder if I really need the meds I take....then BAM.....I notice it.

    1. I am very lucky that I can manage my flares with adjustments to my day and over the counter medicines. My hips have been crazy from the long driving!!

    2. I am taking meloxicam, prednisone, and plaquinel. I am not sure on the spelling. I want to get off of some of them. I am hoping when I go in two weeks, he will let me start weaning off....but I have yet to have a perfect day...so we will see.......it is funny how for a day or two it is my shins and ankles, then it could be my hips.....then it might be one knee......so weird.

  10. What a sweet sweater. I made two sweaters from that pattern for one of my grandsons. He loved them. I'm betting your little guy will enjoy his new sweater too.
