Knitting News

Good morning!

I have been working daily on this baby blanket making steady progress in the hopes of finishing it by the weekend. Having said that, I'm sure I've jinxed myself and will not finish it. But that is okay, the baby shower for my grand-nephew-to-be isn't for a few weeks. I'd also like to knit a little sweater as well which I haven't started yet.

What have you been working on this week?

  1. Such a pretty blanket. What pattern are you using? I'm knitting socks (naturally).

  2. A Scatterby Sock on the needles over here. I am sure both the blanket and sweater will be accomplished before the baby shower. You've got this, Karen.

  3. That is a sweet blanket and I bet you'll be done by this weekend. I'm still plodding along on a Hitchhiker.

  4. The knitting has taken a back seat to the stitching this week (and cleaning out the Yarn Cupboard... sigh)

  6. That's one lucky baby and such a pretty blanket-to-be! I just finished a huge pair of socks (13") for my grandson's friend and am homing in on a sweater finish. And of course there are lots of other things to finish, too.

  7. What a warm cozy pretty blanket. I am working on a shawl, a sweater, and a cowl. Most often three is the magic number of projects - for me.

  10. Beautiful! Will you make a baby cardigan? So much easier to put on compared to a pullover. I have a few for cardigans our little guy! I also have a knit vest that is great, just a warm layer around his middle.
