Knitting News

Hello! How are you doing and how are your projects coming along this week?

I am into simple knitting. Above is a simple cowl (the second of three I am making for gifts). It is truly simple knitting and the ultimate comfort knitting project.

Below is yet another baby blanket (same pattern) but it's a smaller size for covering the infant carrier. This blanket is for the grandbaby to be that is due at the end of September.

I have found that since the family moved close by, my knitting time is limited. What a wonderful reason to not be knitting!!

  1. You will have a new grandbaby to enjoy the beautiful car carrier cover before you know it! September isn't that far away. Love the colors in the cowl that you are working on.

  2. Your reason for your knitting slow down is the best reason ever! I am so happy that they are so close! (but that red blanket is just a fantastic color!)

  4. Being with family, especially grandchildren, is the BEST reason for a slow down in knitting! I'm so excited for you to be welcoming another grandchild in the near future!! Great color for the blanket and I love the colors in the cowl you are knitting.
