Happenings

Good morning from Cambridge Massachusetts!!

We are heading home after visiting our new baby grandson and witnessing his baptism. Immediate family from both sides gathered to celebrate. Of course I had the best time ever!

I love the amount of independent bookstores here and managed to shop at four of them. I also love the paper and pen stores! I was in heaven!!

I finished all the respiratory testing with the pulmonologist last week and had my follow up appointment. Overall I passed the tests. I’m doing a trial steroid inhaler for the next few months and taking a break from additional testing hoping this helps with my symptoms. I am beyond thrilled to not see a doctor for eight weeks! I’ve changed my rheumatologist and my pcp in the last few weeks to have fresh perspectives on my complicate autoimmune disease. I feel good about these changes.

How have you been? What have you been up to?

  2. It sounds perfect, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'm happy to hear things are looking up with your health as well. I can relate to your joy about having a whole eight weeks without seeing a doctor. I was going constantly for a while there. Now having weeks or even months in between feels amazing!

  4. What a blessing to be able to witness your grandsons baptism. The churches back east have such beautiful architecture. Hopefully the change in Drs will give you more answers and better relief from your daily symptoms. Have a safe trip home.

I'm thankful that you have a break from seeing doctors for 8 weeks! You've really been seeing a lot of them with all of the testing, etc. and follow up appointments. I'm glad that you are pleased with the changes that you have made with your doctors also. Praying this new steroid inhaler will help with your symptoms.
