Knitting News
Good morning! How are you doing on this last day of the year? I hope 2026 is wonderful for you!
My knitting has been almost exclusively knitting these mitts. I am on the lining of the first mitt and I'm enjoying how fast the knitting is now that it isn't color-work knitting and chart reading. So far I am on target to finish them by mid January for my sister's birthday.
What are you working on this week?

What a treasure your sister is going to receive for her birthday! Beautiful! I'm still working on crocheting the baby blanket. I would venture to guess that by the end of next week it will be completed.
ReplyDeleteLovely mittens, Karen (and just perfect for this weather we've been having!) I want to knit an Elf-burgh hat for my new granddaughter (but I think her siblings will want hats too... so I am tossing my stash to find some yarns that will work! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI have not been working on anything for some time... Just not feeling it. Your mittens are wonderful! Hope you have a wonderful New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Let's hope 2026 is a good one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful mitten...what a lucky sister! I'm trying to knit on family socks (the ones that were supposed to be for birthdays...then Christmas and now...for whatever/whenever! LOL. And trying to stay warm!
ReplyDeleteLovely mitten! Happy New Year to you.
ReplyDeleteThe snowflakes on that mitten are so lovely. They go with the snow falling in your area. I'm working on the same old same old - socks and a cardigan.
ReplyDeleteMittens will be so appreciated right about now. Goodness but it is chilly outside!
ReplyDeleteLove the mittens! The pattern and color combos are really nice. Your sister will love them I bet! Is 2nd mitten syndrome as bad as 2nd sock syndrome? :)
