Sienna Shawl
Good morning to all of you! How are you doing today?
I'm good and I'm excited to show you my completed shawl. This was the third time I've knit this pattern and I already started a fourth one immediately after the day I finished this one. I'm addicted to it's construction.
As you can see, after I finished the lacework I added lots of garter stitching to use up the remaining yarn and I was quite pleased with the results.
I like the gradual changes in the brown tones. This shawl is a holiday gift and so will the next one I have already started.
What are you working on this week?

Absolutely beautiful, Karen!
ReplyDeleteThat yarn is just so lovely, Karen. And I think it is the perfect pairing of yarn and pattern! I really love knitting patterns again... it is like spending time with a friend!
ReplyDeleteLovely warm colors. Your gift giving items are always so useful.
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty. Such a great color too.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this! Beautiful colours and pattern, Karen!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful 🥰😍
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous finish!! Now I'm curious about what color you next one is that you've already started.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It will make such a lovely gift. I hope to have pictures up on my blog of my latest project. It is taking me forever to finish. I have been drawing more than knitting this summer.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift. I like the extra garter stitches along the edges. Somehow finishing with the darker browns is just the right touch. I'm knitting ribbing on a vest!
