Graystone Shawl

Hello! How are you? I'm doing pretty good these days!

Ta da! I finished the shawl last week and finally blocked it out. I did some garter stitch edging on this shawl as well to use up the remaining yarn on the skein. I liked how it turned out. As I mentioned previously this is a holiday gift and I hope the recipient loves it. (I wish it was mine...).

What have you been working on this week? Are you thinking of holiday knitting yet? I have been and have even started more projects!

  1. Your grey shawl is gorgeous and I wish it were mine!! LOL. I've started a new pair of socks for Fletcher's birthday later this month. I'm not planning any holiday knitting though I will most likely make socks for both Colin & Iris for their birthdays in December.

  2. Gorgeous, Karen! I am plugging away on my sweater... in the belief that I will be wearing it soon (although with the heat blast this week, that seems funny!)

  3. You are such a talented knitter!! I have had to move to more crocheting as my thumb joints are not happy when I knit. I am holding off on shots as long as I can. I have wrapped my head around it now though and I am enjoying crocheting again. I made 36 newborn hats for our local maternity ward.

  4. So pretty. I am sure it will be loved. Working on items for our prayer shawl ministry has been my focus. Started a new to me pattern on Sunday and am almost 1/3 of the way finished.
