Christmas Hats

I finished the last hat over the Thanksgiving weekend and now I need to sew in the tags and wrap them up.  They are gifts for the adult kids who will all be here for Christmas.  I enjoyed knitting this pattern four times.  I continue to be a repeat offender when I find a pattern that I like.

Also knitting with worsted weight wool has its benefits, these were speedy knits compared to my go to fingering weight choices.

Now to cast on a pair of socks for my husband for Christmas!

  1. What a lovely pattern. I am procrastinating. I need to start sleeves for a sweater - sigh.

  4. Such nice finishes!! And so nice that ALL the kids will be there for Christmas. I'm knitting on some socks, but I have time. also my son's blanket which I cannot rush due to bulky yarn and big needles - lol. I'm enjoying the process though, and that's important.

  5. They look great! I'm working on some slippers. I'm also working really hard on letting go of the idea to make gifts for everyone ;-)

  6. Wonderful and warm! I'm also knitting Christmas hats and am also a repeat offender with the Rikke pattern. My third and fourth hats are on the needles and I hope to finish them up as quickly as you have!

  7. Slippers for my dear son, who rarely asks for anything - but did mention slippers in a conversation last weekend! Gift knitting is one thing that brings such joy to a knitter's heart!

  12. Love your hats, sometimes it can be easier to knit the same thing over and over especially for gifts, at least you might get to memorise the pattern! I am knitting a mitten at the moment and not much else, don't seem have had much time for knitting this week.
