Knitting News

Good morning! How are all of you? The weather has been snowy and so I've been knitting up a storm. First off is my fair isle hat that I have not worked on lately. I wanted to document with a photo and maybe it will spur me on to picking it up and working on it.

Next project is my lovely cowl. I love working on this because the wool is squishy and soft. The color is one of my favorites to wear and I'm eager to get this done. However, I am enjoying the savoring of each delightful stitch.

Last but not least is my new fair isle sweater that took four cast ons to get right. I am loving how the colors play together and every evening I am knitting away thinking 'just one more row'. It's a delightful headspace to be in.

What are you working on?

  10. Your projects are always so pretty! At the moment I am working on a X-stitch project because my thumbs have been hurting ever since I knitted that baby blanket with big needles and big yarn. I'm also trying to remember how to piece a quilt!

  11. You are one talented lady all three projects are a delight. I am working on some crochet roses to make some hair bows for the grand daughters. It is a joy to get little messages from them showing me things that they like.

  14. I am jealous of your knitting. Seeing everyone's progress makes me kind of sad as my elbows ache. I plan to switch to sewing hopefully tomorrow since I'm not working out for the first day of new year (can't wash my hair) and I do have new supplies to practice calligraphy. I'm determined to learn brush lettering also.
