Knitting News
Good morning! How are all of you? The weather has been snowy and so I've been knitting up a storm. First off is my fair isle hat that I have not worked on lately. I wanted to document with a photo and maybe it will spur me on to picking it up and working on it.
Next project is my lovely cowl. I love working on this because the wool is squishy and soft. The color is one of my favorites to wear and I'm eager to get this done. However, I am enjoying the savoring of each delightful stitch.
Last but not least is my new fair isle sweater that took four cast ons to get right. I am loving how the colors play together and every evening I am knitting away thinking 'just one more row'. It's a delightful headspace to be in.
What are you working on?
balancing act going on!! Love all the projects!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour projects always inspire me. I so want to learn fair isle knitting this year. Your is always so pretty. The colors of you sweater are so pretty. Do you choose all the colors yourself or are they ones used in the pattern?
ReplyDeleteSo many projects at once, have fun!
ReplyDeleteLots of great projects, and I think you will be all set for knitting as there is more snow predicted this week and next!
ReplyDeleteYour Fair Isle knitting is gorgeous. do you knit two handed when doing that? I've tried, but my tension is different right or left....
ReplyDeleteGreat projects and fair Isle knitting is a favorite of mine too! I think I am going to have to get on the Heart Warming Cowl! Yeah, a new cast on!!

ReplyDeleteLovely projects as always. I'm really looking forward to the sweater finish, it's going to be amazing.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty projects. You and your knitting are an inspiration. I am working on my purple sweater, a sock, and now and again a scrap blanket.
ReplyDeleteYour projects are always so pretty! At the moment I am working on a X-stitch project because my thumbs have been hurting ever since I knitted that baby blanket with big needles and big yarn. I'm also trying to remember how to piece a quilt!
ReplyDeleteYou are one talented lady all three projects are a delight. I am working on some crochet roses to make some hair bows for the grand daughters. It is a joy to get little messages from them showing me things that they like.
ReplyDeleteYour projects are all so pretty...and coming along nicely...mine....not so much...it's been chilly and rainy here...we even had thunder today...so weird in February...
ReplyDelete~Have a lovely day!
I love when intricate patterns are done in one tone of yarn. Your cowl looks impressive.
ReplyDeleteAnd your sweater...wow! Im loving working the needles again.
I am jealous of your knitting. Seeing everyone's progress makes me kind of sad as my elbows ache. I plan to switch to sewing hopefully tomorrow since I'm not working out for the first day of new year (can't wash my hair) and I do have new supplies to practice calligraphy. I'm determined to learn brush lettering also.
ReplyDeleteI am knitting the body of a sweater ... top down, around and around ... I am loving the yoke on your sweater (sent me down a fun rabbit hole when I saw the latest photo on IG yesterday :-)
