Christmas Stocking

I did it! I finished my grandson's Christmas stocking, well, almost finished. I have yet to duplicate stitch his name on the top which is always a challenge for me. My duplicate stitching skills are not that great. For some reason, this red skein of yarn ran very short of yarn so the white toe has more white than usual. What matters is that the socking can still be stuffed with many little presents.

  3. That is a very sweet stocking, almost ready for stuffing with Christmas goodies. I hope your grandson has a short name so the duplicate stitch isn't too painful!

  4. Very cute. Knitting stockings stretch. You can put a LOT of goodies in there.

  7. What a sweet stocking for a sweet little guy. I love the picot edging at the top. I'm trying to make a sleeve work on the blue sweater. It's been a challenge. In my head, I'm thinking of other projects but I have more than enough on my needles.

  8. What a wonderful Christmas stocking! If you hadn't said anything, nobody would know that the white toe was larger than planned. Good luck with the duplicate stitching.
