Heliotrope Shawl

Well lookie see, I finished the last hitchhiker shawl last night. This is the third hitchhiker shawl from my summer knitting series and it is the last one for quite some time to come. I enjoyed this knit as all the other shawl knits but I am looking forward to not knitting a shawl for quite some time. It's time to start knitting for the grands for Christmas.

What are you working on this week?

  1. Yay! That is one beautiful Hitchhiker! (and just in time, I wrapped one around my neck for Sherman's now dark morning walk!)

  2. Ooh, that is a very pretty Hitchhiker! I'm so happy it's finally getting closer to Hitchhiker-wearing weather.

  3. So pretty. This is another pattern on my someday list. Haven’t knit a shawl in ages

  4. I resumed crocheting the baby blanket some this past week... Then our baby came, so now my lap is occupied as I'm busy with nursing, etc.

  5. That's quite a stretch of three! I'm putting the finishing touches on my fall soldotna ... the weather is perfect for a fall sweater right now and I'm hoping to take full advantage.

  8. What a pretty version of the hitchhiker. By the end, those rows get long so good for you for finishing it up.
