Knitting News

I am so close to finishing my granddaughter's holiday sweater. I had every intention to finish it yesterday but I didn't knit at all. I have high hopes and pipe dreams that today I will finish that sweet tiny sleeve. Also, I was so busy that I forgot to take a photo in natural light, hence the above early morning photo.

What are you working on this week?

  1. Does it feel funny to have a day when you don't knit at all? I don't think I knit as much as you do, but a day without even a few rows is rare. You'll soon be done with that sweet sweater, and ready to start more holiday knitting!

  2. I am working on a Pumpkin Hat for my 3 month old granddaughter! I am going to go visit her October 30/31. They live 3 1/2 hours away so I am taking my sister in law to meet her!!

    1. We have a strawberry hat that was a gift for the child before the one who is now 1 month old! It's in the bin with all the hats, which I haven't unpacked yet for this year, but need to soon!

  3. The patterning on the front is very cute.

  5. Hi Karen! What a beautiful sweater! You are such a good grandmother. I'm sure the gift will be treasured. I'm currently working on crocheting a baby afghan...actually, trying to use up an insane amount of white yarn that I purchased earlier in the year.

  6. What a sweet little sweater. I like the color as well as the pattern. I agree with Bonny, a day without knitting feels very strange to me. Let's see I'm working on a Christmas present for my DIL that won't be blog material and the LYS KAL wrap. I'm also swatching for a shawl from handspun.
