Happenings
Good morning! How are you?
I know I say this every single time, but boy oh boy am I busy! We pick up the kids at least twice a week from daycare and my adult classes started last week. I'm living my best life! Except I am having quite the arthritis flare (it's always something with my body!). On Saturday I cleaned two of my fountain pens and one was very stubborn, that wrangling hurt my hands all the more and I'm still suffering from it.
We continue to go to soccer practice for out grandson on Saturday mornings, always fun and there are a few trees to sit under to keep out of the full sun. Where did fall go? I want it back!
Yesterday evening we went to see the Neil Diamond Musical A Beautiful Noise. Golly! It was so good and so much fun. If it's in your town, I highly recommend going to it.
I continue to keep up with my once a week nature journaling. I usually use colored pencils since they are easy to use while sitting on the loveseat. Also I finished the body of my grandson's holiday sweater! Tonight I'll start a sleeve.
Grandchildren will keep you busy, that's for sure! I love the sneak peeks of your nature journaling. Your grandson's sweater looks great - love the color. What classes are you taking this time?
ReplyDeleteThe busyness of grandchildren is such a good thing, isn't it? Delightful journaling!
ReplyDeleteI can relate, I have psoriatic arthritis. I love your artistic talent.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your grandkids are also thrilled to have their grandparent in their lives. Busy with good stuff is always good.. sorry to hear about the arthritis flares though. That color of the sweater is my fav!
ReplyDeleteYour sweater is such a pretty autumn color. So, inquiring minds want to know, what adult class are you taking. I sure wish something like that was offered around here.
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkin drawing is so sweet. I love, love, LOVE pumpkin season.
What a handsome gold for that sweater. I hope you put all the sweaters together for one photo. I'm always happy to see a little bit of your sketching. Take good care.
ReplyDeleteYou are one busy lady! It's so great that you can help out with your grands so much! What a blessing to you and to them! Sorry to hear about your arthritis flares, and I hope you can get feeling better soon. I love your sketching and your knitting. Have a great week. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteI need to clean my fountain pens. I rarely use them so I should probably clean them and not refill.
ReplyDeleteI know your arthritis pain. I am having a flare in my thumb which is making stitching uncomfortable to say the least. What classes are you taking this semester?
ReplyDeleteKaren, you amaze me with all that you accomplish and the way you do not allow your health to define you. I'm sorry about your hands. That sweater is going to be gorgeous, and I love your entry this week for your art journal.
