Happenings

Hello! How are you?

I've had a 'busy' week and this week is another doozy. But I'm ready. I have a long list of to do's and I'm going to get them all done. Anyways, I met with a Pulmonologist last week and now I'm getting more testing done to see if the lovely autoimmune disorder is getting into mischief with my lungs (or is it asthma?). I won't know for two months since the various testing appointments are scattered throughout the eight weeks. Also I had my routine colonoscopy last week and since then I am eating everything in sight to make up for the fasting and prepping. All food is delicious now! Will it ever end??

Even though the outside looks like fall, the temperatures are still reflecting summer and I am so over it. I want to be cold. I want the heat on in the house and not the AC. Supposedly next week will be cooler, I cannot wait and I hope it doesn't change.

I finished my grandson's sweater, yay. And I made a typo in my last post which I edited out. My granddaughter is TWO years old not four years old. Good grief! Also my daughter and son in law had their first baby boy last week!!! We get to see him in November. I cannot wait. Everyone is healthy and home.

I finished the 3 year old grandson's holiday sweater and I'll share that on Wednesday. I picked up these pair of socks in the mean time before I start working on something else for the holidays.

  3. I wish I could knit socks! My Essential Tremors keeps me from doing anything very delicate. Yes, I'm ready for fall. I LOVE summer but she has overstayed her welcome! LOL! Will be praying for you during your tests. Hope all turns out well.

  6. Congratulations on that new little grandson. I hope all the testing goes well and yields some strategies and answers that make you feel better. Those little holiday sweaters knitted up so quickly. We've had slightly cooler weather but plenty warm for me. It will be nice when the crisp fall days arrive for good.

  7. Congratulations on the new grandson! I am sure you are itching to meet him. I know when my oldest son's wife had their baby girl, it was killing me not to be there. I met her when she was a month old as they in another state. Thank goodness for pictures!!! and cell phones....

  8. Congrats on the new grandson. Our ac is now off, we only turn it on at night. And while I am not loving the 80 degree weather in sept I am not a fan of being cold either. I wish it could just stay in the late 60's early 70's. Love the colors of the socks.. so fun.
